Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk says the players are in regular contact with teammate Andrew Robertson.
The left-back could be out for four months after undergoing shoulder injury.
Van Dijk said after victory over Everton: "Of course [we've spoken].
"I spoke to him when it happened. I'm gutted for him.
"It's not nice to have an injury that is bad, the shoulder is hard work, we've seen it with Mo, there's so much work to go through but we are here to support him all the way through and he will be fine. Tough weeks ahead of him."
