Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on Burnley striker Danny Ings.
The Daily Mail says Liverpool are among the Barclays Premier League clubs tracking £8million-rated Ings.
Ings has already netted 18 times for the Championship promotion chasers this season and is also attracting interest from Newcastle United, Stoke City and Aston Villa.
Burnley desperately want to keep the 21-year-old striker, but having sold Charlie Austin to QPR for £4million last summer, they know it could be difficult if an offer in excess of £5m is made during this transfer window.
