Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on Swansea City star Michu.
The People says Swans boss Michael Laudrup does not want to lose Michu and on Thursday claimed it would take a £30m bid to change his mind.
But even a more realistic bid of around £10m would represent a fine piece of business for a player who cost £2m just six months ago.
The former Rayo Vallecano star was on Rodgers' radar while he was Swansea manager and the way the player has slotted in at the Liberty suggests he would have no problems fitting into the Irishman's Anfield blueprint.
