Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers isn't ready to give up on Lazar Markovic.
The Daily Mail says Markovic could yet have a future at Liverpool if he impresses during his season-long loan at Fenerbahce.
The Serbian winger only signed for the Red 12 months ago in a £20million deal. But rather than offload the 21-year-old, Liverpool would like him to return to their first-team set-up next summer.
Liverpool are adamant Markovic, who also attracted interest from Aston Villa and West Ham, has a long-term future. They believe a season in Turkey will improve his football education and he will return an improved player.
