Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has been fined £8,000 over comments he made after the defeat at Manchester City. Rodgers, who accepted the charge on Wednesday, has also been warned about his future behaviour, reports BBC Sport.
He criticised the performance of the match officials and questioned the appointment of Bolton referee Lee Mason after the 2-1 loss.
Rodgers said: "Hopefully we won't have a Greater Manchester referee with Liverpool-Manchester games in future."
