Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is determined to keep his defence together.
Rodgers is confident Daniel Agger and Martin Skrtel will sign new deals.
Rodgers said: "I met Martin for the first time on Saturday. I am looking forward to working with him, likewise Daniel.
"I had a good feeling after I spoke to him."
