Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits having a word with Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno after last night's Carabao Cup shootout defeat.
Leno made saves from Divock Origi and Harry Wilson to send the Reds tumbling to a 5-4 defeat on penalties at Anfield on Thursday.
Liverpool had dominated during a goalless 90 minutes but couldn't find a way past Leno, who saved well from Diogo Jota, Virgil van Dijk and Marko Grujic.
And Klopp said: “I told him after the game, I was not too happy about that!
“We had really good moments – as a manager I wish that we scored but I want to see us create.
“Yes, the boys can play better but I am not sure they can play better after two days' training against a changed Arsenal team."
