Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is eyeing unsettled AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez.

The former Real Madrid keeper is weighing up his options at Milan after losing his first team status to 16 year-old sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Klopp wants competition for No1 Simon Mignolet and is exploring the prospect of bringing Lopez to Merseyside.

Calciomercato.it says the German plans to use Mario Balotelli as a bargaining chip in negotiations for the Spaniard.

Milan are eager to sign Balotelli permanently in 2016 and Klopp is expected to demand Lopez be included in negotiations.
