Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has laughed off comparisons between Mohamed Salah and Barcelona ace Leo Messi.

Salah has found the net more times than Messi this year, but Klopp has tried to deflect people from making a comparison.

Klopp smiled: “Is Mo the best in the business? All over the word? Lionel Messi is left footed isn't he? Maybe we should not forget him.

“Best in the world, I'm not too interested in these categories but Mo has a good one.

“I'm more surprised that he had a header (in his Premier League total) as well.

“He has a right foot that he scored with too probably.

“I don't care which part of the body he uses. That's for him like the other boys. It's a very good left foot for sure."
