Liverpool boss Klopp reveals why he replace Mane in Spartak draw

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he replaced Sadio Mane in the draw with Spartak Moscow due to his lack of match fitness.

The Senegal international, who is currently serving a three-game suspension in the league, provide the assist for Philippe Coutinho's goal in the 1-1 draw. However, he was taken off by Klopp in the 70th minute.

"Sadio Mané has spent too long without a game so he needs to adapt to such intensity," Klopp said.

"That's why we had to replace him."
