Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is considering returning to his former club Mainz to boost his attack.

BILD says Mainz striker Nelson Weiper is a target for Liverpool this summer.

Offers from across Europe are arriving for the youngster which may kick Klopp into action. It's said Weiper has long been on the radar of Liverpool.

Weiper played a key role in Mainz's Champions League qualification last season and has seen his reputation skyrocket.

The 20 year-old is rated at €20m by Mainz, though there is a confidence he won't agitate for a move this summer, despite the growing interest.
