Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will make a decision this morning about his centre-half selection against Chelsea today.

Youngster Joe Gomez is back in the fold and was a late inclusion on the bench as the Reds beat Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The 21-year-old has not featured since fracturing his leg against Burnley in December but could now be set to return Klopp's side against Chelsea on Sunday.

“We have to make sure he is 100 per cent fit," Klopp told Liverpool's official website about Gomez.

“As long as the other boys are all fit and stuff like that, we can give Joe the time to train and maybe get some match practice in some other games – we will see how we can do that exactly, I'm not 100 per cent sure.

"But we will need Joe in the last part of the season.

“We have a choice to make [in central defence].

“That means everybody needs to show in training or in the games what gives us the biggest opportunity or possibility to win the next game – that's all what I think about."
