Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists Diogo Jota didn't deserve a red card in defeat at Tottenham on Saturday.
Jota was one of two Liverpool players sent off, with the visitors also wrongly having a goal disallowed by VAR. Klopp has since demanded the match be replayed.
On Jota, he also said: "Diogo Jota received two yellow cards without ever touching a player. I would say that this is also unprecedented. Wonderful. We can and have learned a lot from this game.
"I saw a wonderful team that fought incredibly honestly against all odds, I don't know how it ended up that we only had eight cards, it's strange. But that's how it is. So that's what we'll learn from this. It's not that we were left empty-handed and received nothing. We didn't score points, that's true, but we can use everything else to our advantage and we will.
"But not out of anger or anything like that. This is not the mood we are in now."
