Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is delighted with the contribution of sports psychologist Lee Richardson.
Richardson, who had spells with Watford and Blackburn as a player and managed Chesterfield, spends three days a week at the club's training ground on an ad hoc basis.
Klopp told The Athletic: "He was a player, then a manager and then he studied sports psychology. He's working for us which is great.
“He works very specifically with the boys and I have no idea what they are talking about. I am not interested. It's just a nice add on.
“It's just for us the next step. It's difficult to find the right people with how I see it in that part of the business. Now we feel pretty good with him on board and that's cool."
