Liverpool boss Klopp hails Keita performance: Wonderful

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp hailed the performance of Naby Keita for victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.

The Guinean recorded a goal and assist as he made his first Premier League start of the season, while Joe Gomez switched positions midway through the game following injury to Dejan Lovren.

“We had wonderful individual performances," he said. “The obvious one was Naby, he was great.

“There were so many really, really good players. How we controlled it from the midfield with Hendo and Milly helped a lot.

Joe Gomez immediately looked really natural at centre-half, all that helped."

He added: “It was (perfect), 100 percent. I really feel for Eddie. You can lose against us obviously but to lose Ake and Wilson in the same game is a major blow on a day like this.

“On the other side we scored wonderful goals, had more chances and did really well.

“It's what you need to win football."
