With just five games in to the new season, Liverpool find themselves five points behind table-topping Manchester United and Manchester City.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, whose side could only manage a 1-1 draw with Burnley at home last weekend, admits that he is envious of the starts Manchester clubs have made this season.
"Of course," he said, ahead of the league game at Leicester. "Especially when the Manchester teams are flying — that makes it even more difficult.
"But I cannot change this. What I can do is cool the situation here and do the right things again and work on the other things. That is how it is always."
