Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says Danny Ings will be fit for preseason.

The England international has been sidelined since suffering ligament damage to his right knee in the EFL Cup win over Tottenham last October.

Ings was initially ruled out for around seven and nine months, and he's focused on getting himself fit for the 2017/18 campaign.

“Danny is not fit. He's in a good way but it will take time," Klopp said.

“I don't think there is any chance for this season. We are looking at pre-season."
