Liverpool are closing on a deal for FC Koln goalkeeper Timo Horn.
The Sun says Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wants Horn to be his new No1 next season.
Klopp has is plotting a raid for the young German and sent chief scout Dave Fallows to make a final check on him last night.
Horn, 22, is seen by the Kop chief as the long-term solution to his problems between the sticks.
And despite handing Simon Mignolet a new five-year contract earlier this season, Klopp has his heart set on signing the 6ft 4in stopper.
Horn was also on Liverpool's radar when Brendan Rodgers was in charge but was allowed to slip the net.
