Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson can't see Manchester United counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson leaving out Wayne Rooney for tomorrow's clash.
Rooney missed United's 3-3 draw at Everton last weekend.
"It's unlikely that a player like Rooney is going to be left on the bench versus Liverpool," Hodgson told liverpoolfc.tv. "Alex knows who his best players are and we on the outside can pretty much guess who his best players are.
"Giggs and Scholes are also two big names, and Fletcher has done well for them too in recent years. Berbatov is in very fine form at the moment. They have a lot of good players who are looking in good shape.
"We know containing players like that is never easy but we'll have a strong team ourselves on the day."
