Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish insists he hasn't been affected by the Luis Suarez race storm.

Dalglish reacted angrily when asked about Suarez's snub to Evra after Liverpool lost 2-1 at Old Trafford last week.

He subsequently apologised for his conduct - as did Suarez - but Dalglish insists that he has not been scarred by the episode.

He said: "It's not as if my wife Marina has left me, is it?

"She is still there, so I am a happy man. We just concentrate on the football, that is what we are supposed to do and that is what we will try and do.

"If we didn't concentrate on football and try and prepare the best we possibly can, there are an awful lot of people who love this football club that we'd be letting down.

"We've absolutely no intention of doing that.

"Our fans have been fantastic - and they will be fantastic again against Brighton."
