Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is keen to build up the confidence of midfielder Raul Meireles.

Meireles was on the scoresheet in yesterday's 2-2 draw with Everton.

"The confidence is a big factor - and it's the same for every player," said Dalglish.

"Raul is a very good footballer, he passes and moves well and that goal won't do him any harm whatsoever."
