Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez will know today if striker Fernando Torres will be fit for their Champions League tie with Real Madrid.

The Sun says Torres has missed Liverpool's last two games after twisting an ankle in the first leg of their 1-0 Champions League last-16 win at Real Madrid.

But despite coming through a light session yesterday, he has yet to undergo any serious work.

Now boss Benitez is sweating on the Spaniard being able to take part in a rigorous session this morning and not showing any reaction to the injury.

Benitez will give him as long as possible to recover before naming his side.
