Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez believes he's back on the Christmas card list of the club's American owners, Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
"I am certainly not worried about the meeting. We are all trying to do the best for our club and they want the same. We just need to understand one another."
Benitez was unhappy at the suggestion chief executive Rick Parry would handle all transfers in the future and wants to sort out a long-term deal for Javier Mascherano.
He added: "I think all the talk about my position will be finished next week.
"When you see what we have been doing over the last three or four years, it is clear we are moving in the right direction. It's just a case of finding a solution to the misunderstanding."
