Liverpool have received a fresh boost in their pursuit of RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita.

RB Leipzig have announced the addition of midfielder Keita's potential replacement Konrad Laimer on a four year deal from Red Bull Salzburg, as first reported by the Liverpool Echo.

And the Reds are hoping the switch will allow them to bring the 22-year-old to Anfield.

Liverpool are interested in the talented Keita, but have been told that any deal will cost around £70m.
