El Mundo Deportivo says the midfielder is firmly on the radar of Barca sporting director Robert Fernandez.

It's suggested the club has sent spies to watch him on several occasions this season.

The 22-year-old linked up with the Bundesliga outfit from their sister club in Salzburg last June.
