Liverpool and Arsenal are eyeing Roma goalkeeper Matteo Cardinali.

TMW says Liverpool had Cardinali watched as Roma wrapped up the Under-17s title this month.

And their personnel were joined by officials from Arsenal, who are on the lookout for reinforcements too.

Liverpool and Arsenal's interest in Cardinali is mirrored by that of Red Bull Salzburg, who act as something of a feeder club to RB Leipzig.

Cardinali, who turned 17 today, is not yet ready for Liverpool's first-team if he heads to Merseyside.
