Wolves have resisted an approach from Liverpool for captain Ruben Neves.
Football Insider says the chances of a deal happening this month are slim. Wolves have told Liverpool they will not sanction an exit for Neves in January.
It has been claimed that Wolves want to keep Neves at the club until the end of the season. The reasons for this, is because the Molineux outfit want to keep the midfielder to help their chances of avoiding relegation.
One hope for Liverpool is that Wolves could be open to selling Neves in the summer.
The 25-year-old's current deal runs out in 2024, and his value is likely to decrease by the time the end of the season comes around.
