Liverpool are the prime candidates to secure the signature of Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.

The central midfielder has been linked to the biggest clubs in Europe in recent months.

However, Marca states that Liverpool are the closest to his signature at present.

Real are not likely to spend big on the midfielder until next summer, and Tchouameni may not want to wait another year to secure a big move away from Monaco.
