Lithuania manager Igoris Pankratjevas has declared Tottenham striker Harry Kane a "sniper".
Kane struck on his England debut in their 4-0 rout of Lithuania in their Euro 2016 qualifier.
Pankratjevas described Kane as a "sniper" and England coach Roy Hodgson said: "If sniper is the word that appeals to you, then use it. Leave me out of it.
"It is fantastic for Harry. We're so delighted for him. It is a bit of a fairy tale but it's nice when fairy tales come true and it has come true for Harry.
"He has crowned his England debut with a well-taken goal. I don't think he's a person who'll buckle under pressure but he'll have to accept the media spotlight - already enormous - will get bigger.
"But he's in good hands with Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham and us here. We'll make sure we don't built him up to knock him down but build him up to be a big part of our future."
