Lindelof willing to play anywhere for Man Utd

Manchester United centre half Victor Lindelof has said that he has no issues playing in various positions.

The Red Devils have been chopping and changing their lineup at the start of the new season.

Lindelof, who is behind Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez in the defensive pecking order, admits he has no issues playing at right back, midfield, or even off the bench.

"I think it is great to have competition for places," Lindelof told Sky Sports.

"We have talked about the level that I want to be at and at this level there should be competition for places, otherwise it is not right.

"We are playing at the biggest club in the world, so there should be players who are competing for different positions. It is not a problem, I like it, and I think they [Varane and Martinez] have been playing great together.

"Like I have said as well, when I've played, I think I have been performing as well. There are a lot of games in a season."
