Lille are moving for released Manchester United midfielder Angel Gomes.

Gomes is a free agent after leaving United last month when they failed to agree terms on a new contract.

The youngster made ten first-team appearances for United and has been capped by England at Under-20 level.

Spanish side Almeria were linked with Gomes but a switch to Lille appears more likely, says the Daily Mail.

Lille will compete in the Europa League next season having finished in fourth place in Ligue 1.
