Lille are trying to convince Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun to make the move to France today.

The Israel international has declared he expects to leave Chelsea before tonight's transfer deadline, but would prefer to remain in England.

Benayoun is wanted by Lille, particularly should they fail to convince Joe Cole to leave Liverpool.
