Lille defender Gabriel Magalhães is reportedly favoring a move to Arsenal.

The left-sided centre-back is much wanted in Europe, with Manchester United also linked with his signature.

And French outlet La Voix du Nord has claimed that Gabriel is favouring a move to the Gunners.

He has agreed to join the club, if Arsenal can agree on a fee with Lille.

The 22-year-old could be set to join Nicholas Pepe, who left Lille for Arsenal last summer.

Gabriel may feel Arsenal can offer him an easier path to first team football, while still getting to compete in the Premier League and Europa League.

However, United are still in the race and could still make a move for the Brazilian.
