Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade is being linked with the West Bromwich Albion job.
The Birmingham Mail says Slade has been in charge at Orient since 2010 and is under contract having signed a three-year extension last summer.
Despite having no playing career to speak of the 53-year-old has presided over an outstanding campaign and has guided ambitious Orient to the play-off final.
They play Rotherham on Sunday with the winners guaranteed a place in the Championship. Slade has also managed Grimsby, Yeovil and Brighton.
