Lewis Hall is convinced he's improved with Newcastle.

The former Chelsea wing-back signed permanently for the Magpies last week.

Hall told Chronicle Live: "Whenever I am playing I want them to feel confident in me. I want them to feel the excitement.

"I want to give something going forward and defensively as well which I have been working on and improving. It is a big thing for me to show the fans what I can do. Hopefully, as time goes on they will appreciate it more and more."

Hall added: "We have gone on a good run in the last few games. Everton was disappointing not to come away with three points. But we have a couple of nice wins now and we are right in the mix for Europe. The aim is to finish as high as possible. If we can that will be an amazing achievement given the amount of injuries behind the scenes this year. It will be massive."
