Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is ready to block Luka Modric from leaving this summer.

The Mirror says the fed-up Spurs chairman is also ready to take his war with Modric to the end of the transfer window after the Croatian went AWOL at the weekend.

Levy is even said to be ready to frustrate Real Madrid by keeping Modric at the club - just as he did to deny Chelsea last summer.
