Bayer Leverkusen star Son Heung-min has been included in a roster containing nine players based in Europe, six from the K-League, four from Japan’s top flight the J.League, three from China and one from Saudi Arabia.

Also present in the Taeguk Warriors squad for Brazil 2014 is Sunderland midfielder Ki Sung-yueng, Mainz midfielder Koo Ja-cheol, Augsburg striker Ji Dong-won and Bolton winger Lee Chung-yong.

South Korea have been drawn in Group H alongside Belgium, Algeria and Russia with their first group stage fixture scheduled for June 17 against Russia in Cuiaba.
