Randy Lerner has ploughed a staggering £300 million into Aston Villa.
The Birmingham Mail says Lerner and his holding company, Reform Acquisitions Limited, have recorded total losses of £217.7 million since buying the club for £62.6 million in 2006 - but with figures for last season yet to be taken into account.
In 2013 the American businessman waived interest on £107.1 million worth of loans made by him to Villa, which reportedly cost him another £20 million.
Combine the £20 million with the £62.6 million purchase price and the £217.7 million losses and the total cost to Lerner stands at an astonishing £300.3 million.
