Leicester's Kisnorbo has red card scrapped

The Football Association have confirmed Leicester defender Patrick Kisnorbo has had his red card against Ipswich rescinded.

The Australia international was sent off by referee Phil Joslin during the first half of the Foxes' 3-1 defeat at Portman Road on Tuesday.

Video replays showed that Kisnorbo had won the ball in a tackle with Pablo Counago and that the challenge was outside the area.

After seeing the incident, Joslin admitted his mistake and an FA regulatory commission has overturned the decision.

Kisnorbo will escape a suspension and will be available for Leicester's trip to Hull on Saturday.

Boss Ian Holloway said: "It is good news. It is not going to affect Tuesday night but we have to get on with what we have to do."
