Leicester winger Mahrez salvages point with late equaliser against West Brom

Riyad Mahrez scored his first goal of the season to help a rescue point for Leicester City in their 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Monday night.

Nacer Chaldi opened the scoring for the Baggies with a stunning curled free-kick after 63 minutes.

The Foxes were in desperate need for any points they could get and Mahrez atoned for an earlier miss when he equalised with ten minutes remaining in the match.

After a neat knock-down from Islam Slimani, the Algerian smashed home his first goal since May.

Leicester are still in the relegation zone with six points as they've not won a game since August. West Brom meanwhile, find themselves in tenth position on the Premier League table with 10 points.
