Leicester City will wait until the last minute to decide on the fitness of Riyad Mahrez and Jeff Schlupp ahead of their visit to Southampton.

Mahrez and Schlupp were both on international duty during the week with Algeria and Ghana respectively and having returned late to training, The Foxes will wait to assess the pair's fitness before deciding on whether they can feature at Saint Mary´s.

City boss Claudio Ranieri confirmed the club are being patient, saying: "When players go around the world they never get back in good condition, now I have to check.

"Riyad and Schlupp didn't train because they arrived this morning and must recover, tomorrow I will check everyone."
