Sassuolo defender Francesco Acerbi admits he's ready to leave in January.

Acerbi is the subject of intense interest from Leicester City and has also been linked with Inter Milan.

"Sassuolo has given me so much while I recovered from my illness, but of course, I aim to shine in a big club," says Acerbi told Sky Sport Italia.

"After failing in Milan, which was my own fault, I want to see if I can perform in a big club.

"I'm sure I can do it, sure I can establish myself in one."
