Leicester striker Iheanacho loving new partnership with Daka

Leicester City star Kelechi Iheanacho is enjoying the Patson Daka partnership that is developing at the club.

The two forwards are playing off each other to great effect in the Premier League and Europa League.

Iheanacho laid off two assists for two of the four goals Daka scored in the Europa League against Spartak Moscow last midweek.

"I know how Patson is, he's a runner, he's a finisher," Iheanacho said.

"It's a joy. I understand him, he understands me, he runs off me, I run off him, it's a great combination.

"I hope we get more chances to play together."

He added: "At the start of the season, we were not quite there, but now we're getting wins and we need to keep fighting for every ball, sticking together, keep doing what we are doing, and keep performing in every single game.

"I think I'm doing really well. I'm really happy with my performances. Hopefully I will keep giving my best for the team, and hopefully I can keep scoring and creating goals."
