Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu is still waiting on the chance to make his first appearance for the club.

Fans are eager to see Soyuncu in action, but he is still recovering from injury and will need to take it slow to ensure he is fully ready.

The 22-year-old will not play against Southampton this weekend as he recovers from a injury he got before signing.

"Soyuncu has had an injury before coming here and now, for the moment, it is just rehabilitation," said his manager Claude Puel to Leicestershire Live.

"We will see when he can play, and whether he can start with the under-23s, for example."
