Leicester City have slapped a £40m price-tag on Danny Drinkwater.

The England international has established a reputation as one of the Premier League's most industrious midfielders over the past couple of seasons.

And Antonio Conte is keen to get the 27-year-old on-board to bolster his depleted squad ahead of this Sunday's showdown with Tottenham.

The Telegraph says Chelsea are set to increase their initial £15m offer to £25m in an attempt to convince Leicester to sell.

The Foxes are unlikely to do a deal at that price though as they have their eye on the full £40m Manchester United gave the Blues for Matic.
