Roma have failed with a bid for Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez.

Sky Italia says the Foxes have rejected a £20 million offer from Roma for Mahrez.

Interest in City's wantaway star from the Serie A runners-up emerged earlier this week and there are now reports of a bid from the Italian side.

However, City will not have needed long to turn down such a risible offer.

Leicester value Mahrez at more than double Roma's proposed figure, at £50m.
