Leicester City have reportedly turned down a loan bid from Malaga for Luis Hernandez.
Sky Sports is reporting that the Spanish club wanted to bring the right-back to La Rosaleda for the remainder of the season.
Hernandez only joined the reigning Premier League champions from Sporting Gijon in the summer and the Foxes are not keen to let him leave, as he is the only back-up to first-choice right-sided full-back Danny Simpson.
It is understood that Hernandez, 27, is frustrated with his lack of playing time under Claudio Ranieri in the East Midlands and his situation will continue to be monitored by Malaga, as well as other La Liga clubs.
