Leicester present Premier League lifeline for Kabak after Liverpool loan

Ozan Kabak could be given a Premier League lifeline.

Liverpool are expected to pass on their 18m option to sign Kabak on a permanent basis following his loan from Schalke.

The Reds are instead focusing on recruiting Ibrahima Konata from RB Leipzig.

Turkey international Kabak made 13 appearances in England, but was sidelined for the final month of the season due to injury.

According to The Mirror, Leicester were impressed by Kabak and could pursue him this summer.

The Foxes will lose veteran Wes Morgan this summer, while Jonny Evans will turn 34 early next year.

Leipzig are another team keen on the 21-year-old, especially if Konate moves to Anfield.
