Leicester ponder sending SOS to O'Neill

Leicester City are considering a shock move to bring Martin O'Neill back into management.

The former Celtic and Foxes manager last worked at the club a staggering 23 years ago.

Per The Independent, Leicester are assessing their options after having sacked Brendan Rodgers.

An approach was turned down by Graham Potter, who lost his job at Chelsea on Sunday as well.

Rafa Benitez is another name being considered, but O'Neill is the more likely option of the two.

The Northern Irishman managed Leicester between 1995 and 2000, before having spells at Celtic, Aston Villa, Sunderland and the Ireland national side.
