Leicester players on stunning cash bonus to beat QPR (but Nigel's unhappy)

Leicester City players are on a cool £1 million bonus to beat QPR today.

The Foxes squad negotiated a bonus structure at the start of the season and they have already earned a £5m pot after securing survival against relegation to the Championship last weekend.

The extra cash from the club's Thai owners will arrive should they secure 14th place in the Premier League, the spot they are currently in, but Pearson insists his side are playing for far bigger factors.

"We have to be careful when we talks about bonuses," he said. "Any bonus scheme going to be paid to players is agreed before the season starts.

"We have owners who are very generous but anything bonus related is already set aside and nothing else needs to be spoken about.

"I find it a bit distasteful. Different things motivate different people but it's a bit of a cheap shot when stories are surfacing about how much Premier League survival is worth."
